Another way of creating new outlook profile when the mail menu in control panel isn't functioning

Steps to Create a New Outlook Profile in Outlook 365 (Windows) app. When the “Mail” menu in the control panel isn’t functioning and shows different errors like the below one:

  1. Open the Outlook 365 App
    • Start by opening Outlook. You'll see the Home tab at the top.
  2. Access Account Settings
    • Click on File in the upper-left corner of the Outlook app.

o    From the drop-down menu, choose Account Settings and then We have Two options.

o    The Two Options “Change Profile”  and “Manage Profiles” :

  1. Create a New Profile

3.1 Using the “Change Profile” option:

 Click OK and then Put the new profile name: e.g.  ‘new’ ,

 

3.2 Using the “Manage Profile” option.

 

    • In the Mail Setup window, click “show profiles...” then Add Profile.
    • Enter the profile name (e.g., "Work Email", "Personal Email") and click OK.
  1. Enter Email Account Details
    • Outlook will prompt you to enter your email address. Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the necessary details.
    • If it's an Office 365 or Exchange account, Outlook will auto-configure most settings.
  2. Set as Default Profile (Optional)
    • After setting up the new profile, you can set it as the default by going to Mail Setup > Set as Default
