Cisco VPN Error 27850 Unable to Manage Networking Component

While installing Cisco VPN client, you may get an error saying

“Error 27850 Unable to Manage Networking Component

Operating system Corruption may be preventing installation.”

 

Please follow the below steps to resolve.

 

1- Open registry editor  Start>Run>Regedit (windows key + R to open run box)

2- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Network

3- On right Side Pane look for MaxNumFilters option, By Default it will set to a value date of 8 change the value data from 8 to 14

4- Restart the system and try now. Cisco VPN client installation will complete without any error.
