Greetings!!

This is to inform you after you granted access for user from Document library but user complain it is not working so you should follow this stapes.

1, you should know exact folder user need to use so go to document library then find folder from library select folder under modified you get the dot … click on it.

then → Advanced →Shared with

2, when you click Sheared with you can see name list find the person you give permission then 

click on Advanced

3, Now click Advance see the states it maybe the Inheriting permission is break so click on it to relies the break then you can add the person you need to give permission.
