let's get started popup in office 2016
1. Uninstalled Office trial
edition.
2. Uninstalled the "Get
Office" app.
3. Installed Office Standard volume
license edition.
4. Started Word to verify the trial
version Activation Popup (it does).
5. On the Start menu, click Run.
6. Type regedit, and then press Enter.
7. Select
the following key in the registry.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\OEM
8. Right click the OEM value and click File>Export.
9. Save the key
10. Once the key is backed-up, click on Edit>Delete
11. Repeat steps 5-10 with following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\OEM Exit Registry Editor
12. Started Word again- problem solved with popup gone!
