Please
follow the steps below to upgrade to Citrix Receiver 4.3 and validate your
access to a Citrix application.
Complete
Steps 1 – 5 if you need to uninstall a previous version of Citrix Receiver:
1. Open the
Control Panel on the workstation.
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Right click Citrix Receiver.
Note: You might see a different icon if you have an older version.
4. Click Uninstall.
A confirmation window appears.
5. Click Yes.
To execute
the Receiver Clean-Up Utility:

Download Citrix Receiver
Clean-Up Utility from https://emergo5.sabre.com/emergo/content/public/ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe
7. Open the
ReceiverCleanupUtility.exe file from your web browser or Downloads folder.
Note: The user must be an administrator
or have read, write, and modify access permissions for the following:

Local machine registry (HKLM)
·
Local user registry (HKCU)
·
Default user profile on computer
·
%programfiles%\citrix on 32-bit systems
·
or %programfiles(x86)%\citrix on 64-bit systems
8. Press any
key to begin cleaning up the previous Citrix Receiver installation.
9. When
prompted to send the logs to Citrix, type n
and press Enter.
10. Press any
key to exit.
To install
Citrix Receiver 4.3:

Download Citrix
Receiver 4.3 from https://emergo5.sabre.com/emergo/content/public/CitrixReceiver4.3.exe
Or download the latest version from
https://www.citrix.com/go/receiver.html
12. Open the
CitrixReceiver.exe file from your web browser or Downloads folder.
13. Click Start.
14. Select the I accept the license agreement checkbox
and click Next.
15. Click Next.
Note: Do not select the Enable single sign-on check box.
16. Select one
of the options and click Install.
17. Click Finish.
Note: You might be required to restart the workstation to
complete the installation.
18. Log into the Sabre Community Portal and launch a Citrix application to verify you can access applications hosted on the SaaS environment.
19. Associate
.ica File Type With Citrix Connection Manager
On Windows
computers, go to Control Panel > Programs >
Default Programs > Associate a file type or protocol with a
program.
Under Name,
find .ica file type.
Ensure that
the current default is set to Citrix Connection Manager. If not, click Change
program and choose Citrix Connection Manager.
